Organizational details:
All bus movements en route are monitored by the police - this can directly affect the time en route.
Be prepared to show your passport photo.
We will make a stop at 6:00 a.m. so you can have breakfast. Please ask at the reception of your hotel in advance for a dry ration (this is customary when you skip breakfast at the hotel), and take it with you, also take water with you.
During stops there will be an opportunity to go to the restroom, for this you need to take with you some small money.
In winter, we advise to dress warmly, at night and in the morning can be very cold.
The price of the excursion includes:

  • After visiting the museum you can take a boat ride on the Nile and see the city from the Great River for an extra fee, cost $10 per person;

FROM HURGHADA TO CAIRO TO THE BIG SPHINX

What awaits you:

01:00-08:00 Overnight drive.
We will pick you up at your hotel by a comfortable bus or minibus at about 1 am.
The trip to Cairo will take 7 hours in total.
Don't worry about comfort: the transport has air conditioning and toilets, and we will make a sanitary stop at 6am.

08:30 Cairo.
Finally we are in the capital of Egypt!
You'll see how the locals live in one of the largest and most populous cities in Africa, and the guide will share interesting facts about the residents, history, and religion. You will also see the main Tahrir Square and the Qasr El Nile Bridge.

09:00 Egyptian Museum.
In Cairo it is impossible not to visit the Egyptian Museum, where a huge number of antiquities - unique scrolls, manuscripts, and everyday objects that are more than 5 thousand years old - are collected.
You can admire the statues of the most famous pharaohs - Cheops, Chephren, Meekerin, Hatshepsut.
You will admire gold sarcophagi, statues and treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun.

12:00 Lunch.
We will stop at a restaurant where you will have a delicious buffet lunch.

13:00 Pyramids.
We go to the place where time stands still, to the main symbol of Egypt, the pyramids. We have more than 100 pyramids in our country, but the most famous are the pyramids of Giza from the 26th to the 23rd century BC. It is here that one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Pyramid of Cheops, as well as the legendary Great Sphinx are located.

17:00 Back road.
Filled with impressions, return to Hurghada. The road again will take about 7 hours, which means you will arrive at the hotel at about midnight.
