What awaits you:

Karnak Temple Complex
In the "City of the Living", on the east bank of the Nile, you will visit the archaeological open-air museum: the largest temple complex of the ancient world and the main state sanctuary of the New Kingdom.
At Karnak, everything is the greatest. The largest temple in the world, the largest hypostyle hall on the planet, the largest obelisk on Earth 1.5 km by 700 m of ancient monumental building!
Trace the history of the formation of the ensemble, which was founded in the 20th century BC and has been continuously built up for two thousand years. Explore the symbolism of the main monuments, understand the power of the priestly cult and see how the pharaohs strove to surpass the greatness of their predecessors.
The Karnak temple complex takes travelers back to the triumph of Thebes, to the period of the New Kingdom. This interval is the highest rise not only of the capital, but of all ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings
On the opposite shore we will move to the City of the Dead - here, in the depths of the mountain there are 63 tombs of the pharaohs, including the legendary Tutankhamun and Ramses II. Let's talk about what were the ancient Egyptians beliefs about the afterlife, on what principles were created tombs, and of course, not ignore the history of their discovery.

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next we will visit the Hatshepsut Shrine of Queen Hatshepsut. The Hatshepsut Shrine is carved into the rock. The main architectural feature of this monumental structure are the three terraces one above the other, each with an open courtyard, covered rooms with pilasters, and sanctuaries hidden in the depths of the mountain. Hatshepsut is one of the most famous figures in the history of ancient Egypt; here she is referred to as the Iron Ruler!

The Singing Colossi of Memnon
At the two grandiose statues - 18 meters high and weighing 700 tons each - you will hear the history of the monuments erected at the temple of King Amenhoteb III, which has not survived. Learn the origin of their name and the legends that made the colossi famous back in ancient times.

Banana Island trip
The highlight of the trip will be a trip down the Nile. On a motorboat with a roof you will sail to the island where banana plantations are located. We will show you the banana flowers that produce the fruit, treat you to fresh, fragrant bananas and traditional red tea. You will also see crocodiles in the local aviary.

Traditions and Customs of modern Egypt
On the trip you will also learn how life in Egyptian society is organized nowadays. We will tell you about traditions related to marriage, divorce, birth of children, official and religious holidays - the holy month of Ramadan, Christmas of Prophet Muhammad and Jesus Christ. In addition, you will understand the ancient and current calendar system and get an overview of the economy, income, education, sensitive social issues, and their gender aspects.
